Types of Printer
There are different types of printers available in the market which offers different features and print quality based on the type of cartridges as well as the technology used in them. Here are all types of printers that you can choose from including laser printers and inkjet printers.
Laser Printers
The laser printers were first invented in the 1960s by Xerox when the idea of using laser for printing was first considered. Even though an old technology, laser printers are still used in many offices for quick print and xerox works. It is one of the most cost-effective printers and has very high productivity. With high printer speed and expandable paper trays, you can expect quick copies of necessary files in a short period. It may require a short time to heat up, which can also lead to small carbon emissions.
Solid Ink Printers
Solid Ink Printers were introduced to save space and money for packing and portability. These printers require a unique form of ink technology which melts solid ink sticks during the printing process, which can help produce more vibrant tones. The ink is environmentally friendly as it is made of non-toxic vegetable oils. The solid ink printers do not need a lot of space, and even the consumables require less storage. It required warm-up and cool-down time and the prints can get damaged during lamination as heat is applied to the colours. LED Printers
LED printers are similar to laser printers but instead use light-emitting diode(LED). LED printers are considered more efficient because they have less moving parts. They come with free warranty extensions. They can be the most efficient printers and currently have no drawbacks, which makes them the best option.
Business Inkjet Printers
While many businesses still prefer laserjet printers, the business inkjet printers are used on a large scale in offices. Inkjet printers are totally reliable and robust in nature which makes them capable of developing high-quality prints and does not even require a long warm-up time. It might cost a little extra as compared to laserjet but still a better option for developing highly vibrant prints.
Multifunction printers
Sometimes known as all-in-one printers, the multifunction printers are often capable of performing printing, copying, scanning, and faxing data. This can simplify multiple jobs through a single device, which otherwise will demand multiple units. It will be cost-efficient and save a lot of space. At the same time, it will be performing a lot of tasks simultaneously.
Dot Matrix
Dot-matrix is the oldest printer that is still used by many offices on the market. Images and text are drawn with the help of tiny dots through a print head which is soaked with ink and tap on the sheets to create the patterns which will become texts or images. It is easily affordable, needs less maintenance, and can perform in all weather conditions. The only problem that one can face is the noise that it creates while it prints.

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
